Although I have a few different names (long story), most people know me as Sas. When I was 19 years old, one of my role models gave me some great advice. She told me to go and do everything that I wanted to do in life, so that I would have no regrets. I’m now 33 years old, and I still live by this philosophy. I wish I could live 20 different lives, that way I would be able to see and experience everything that I want to. In one life I would be an actress, in another an archaeologist and in yet another I would have run away with the circus as a teenager. Unfortunately, though, multiple lives are not an option. Instead, I made myself a promise to visit at least one new place and try at least one new activity every year. Through Sasieology, I hope to share these adventures with you.
Originally from Blackpool in Lancashire, North West England, I now live in Cardiff, South Wales. In between Blackpool and Cardiff, I have been lucky enough to also call Greece, Austria, America and Canada home. My CV is incredibly varied, some may say bizarre. My dream job as a child was to work as a holiday rep overseas, which I did for five years. Other career highlights have included testing skis in Whistler, BC and working as a Magic and Juggling Instructor in Brant Lake, NY. Sasieology is an insight into all the pieces that make me. As well as writing about my travels and experiences, I am also keen to advocate the benefits of living a plant-based, environmentally-aware lifestyle. Most people struggle with their life/work balance. I struggle with balancing my commitment to living ecologically and my love of adventure. Travelling puts great strain on the planet, and I try to makeΒ responsible choices whenever possible. My moto in life is ‘Aim to achieve your dreams’. If this sounds like your kind of philosophy then you’re welcome to come along for the ride.

What a great philosophy to live by π It is so important to live with no regrets and to just live life to the full. Love how you try to visit a new place and do something new every year. Look forward to following your adventures in life.
Thanks! I’ve got some great adventures coming up in the New Year, including a new place in February that I am sooooooo excited about π
Hope all is well. Just thinking of you! I haven’t been able to connect as much with my fast pace travels through Australia and New Zealand, but know that I think of you and hope you are well.
Jess
I loved the logo you designed for Lesley (Bucket list publications). I am in the process of designing a logo for my website Turquoise Compass and I was wondering if you could suggest any tips for designing a logo! Any recommendations or ideas that you think would work well for Turquoise Compass? Obviously a turquoise compass is probably going to be on the logo. Any help would be amazing.
Jessica, Turquoise Compass
Thanks Jessica, I’ll have a think over the weekend and let you know what I come up with π
