Seeing Turquoise in the Ionian Islands: Kefalonia and Ithaca

Just wanted to share some exciting news with you all. Jessica over at Turquoise Compass has included me as one of her guest bloggers. When I first learnt that Jessica was writing a blog about turquoise travel, I was dubious that anyone could find enough turquoise things to write about. Jessica, however manages to find turquoise everywhere and her blog is one of my favourites. It looks like she’s got me at it now too!

When I think of turquoise travel, the first place that comes to mind is the island of Kefalonia in Greece. In the summer of 2006, I worked on Kefalonia as a holiday rep for 6 months. My base resort was Lassi, but I made good use of my rare days off to get out and explore everything the island had to offer in my little rental Renault Twingo.
