This photo was taken on my 30th birthday. We walked up to a stunning lake in Yosemite National park, and the surface of the water was like looking in a mirror. Due to the heavy snow melt that week, the lake wasn’t actually as still as it usually is. Apparently, it’s even more reflective on an average day.
And after a hard day hiking there’s nothing better than sitting around a (smoky) camp fire. A quick tip for anyone who finds themselves travelling with me – camp fire smoke is attracted to me, regardless of which way the wind is blowing. So, just get me to sit away from everyone else and you will all be saved having smoke in your face!
